Based on statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the USA, they estimate that the average married couple spends 1 to 3 hours every week grocery shopping alone. Even though there's no official statement on how much time one single person may spend doing the grocery shopping but still a significant amount of time.

1 to 3 hours a week may not sound like that much time for each individual person it does add up to 4 to 12 hours a month now just think of what you can do for with an extra 1 to 12 days a year of free time that you're currently spending on grocery shopping.
